Login Access

A: Access is available via Login using your email address and a password. Use the Reset Password feature to change your password if you have forgotten it or if you are a first-time user. Please note: If your email address has not been provided for the Directory, you will not be able to login.
A: If you need to retrieve your Password, use the Reset Password button on the Login screen. Enter your email address. If your email is found, an email will be sent with instructions how to reset your Password.
A: Use the Reset Password feature. Your login information can be retrieved if you are included in the MVSD Directory with an email address.
A: We only have the email addresses provided by the District Office, and for families and their contacts who did not opt out of the Directory. Please contact the District for assistance.
A: We have enhanced the system to allow duplicate email addresses in the Directory Listing section,and provided additional options for logging in when duplicates are encountered. If an error message appears during login, click on the included link to resolve duplicate email addresses.
A: We realize that are are instances when an email address might not the best method of uniquely identifying a User during login. Example: Multiple persons in the Family use the same email address. We now accommodate using an unpublished alternate email address or a username. While editing your Contact record, click on the Edit link at the bottom of the page to change your login.

Data

A: Yes. we now offer the ability for a family to edit the Directory listing. Just login, locate your Family record and click the “Edit Family” button. Please be aware that by editing the Online Directory, no changes are made to the source of the data at MVSD. Please contact your School Administrative Assistant or the District to request permanent changes.
A: We receive data in the Fall, from the District.’s system The data received is a subset of registered student data. We don’t receive data from families who have opted out of the Directory or have requested certain data not be published. Please review your official data and privacy preferences with the District. Most issues regarding missing data are due to inadvertent preference settings established during student registration.
A: If you would like to be removed from the online Directory, you can edit your Family Preferences and deactivate your listing. You will also need to advise your School Administrative Assistant to make the request permanent.
A: The data we receive from the District arrives as individual student records. To create the Directory, we process the records into Family records with multiple Households, Students and Contacts. Sometimes, we get it wrong, particularly when names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are different between student records.

A: We publish all the family data provided to us in the Fall from the District Office. If some or all of your family data is missing from the Directory, the most likely reason is that you have opted out of the Directory at some point. Please contact the District to correct this for next year.
A: No. Only MVSD Parents can access the system. Please use our Contact Us form to request changes.
A: Practically unlimited! You can Add, Delete and Edit Students, Households and Contacts. Remember: edits made to the PTSA Directory are not reflected in the District’s system.

Printing

A: Yes. Printed Directories can be purchased from First Day Packets at the beginning of the school year. After that time, please contact MVSD District for availability of copies.

Security

A: No. The system remembers your login for 30 days without having to log back in.

Using the Directory

A: No. Each login is unique with it’s own password.
A: You can use the Online Directory on any device, without limit.
